Job Summary
Caplock Security is seeking a dedicated System Administrator to ensure the stable operation of our in-house computer software systems and network connections across multiple locations. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, configuring, supporting, and optimizing network software, servers, and communication links. You will also direct daily administration activities, implement automation, drive vulnerability management, and ensure optimal system performance and fault tolerance. This position is a contingent hire, with employment dependent upon the successful award of the contract.
Duties
- Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and communication links.
- Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems.
- Provide local and remote maintenance support across multiple operational locations, including server/application installs and upgrades.
- Apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing and ensuring system fault tolerance.
- Perform routine vulnerability management activities to maintain a secure environment.
- Conduct capacity and performance analyses, providing system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
- Increase administrative efficiency and accuracy using automated tools and scripts.
- Develop standardized system administrator procedures and conduct staff training and skills assessments.
- Provide technology direction recommendations to ensure alignment with business vision.
- Team Leadership & User Support:
- Direct the daily work of other system administrators, ensuring effective resource optimization.
- Analyze and resolve complex end-user software and connectivity issues, as well as deliver end-user training.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least 7-10 years of specialized experience.
- Certifications: Network+, Security+ or Certified Network Defender (CND) certification. Security + is the most preferred.

Compensation: $78,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
